The main function of solder is to connect the solder to form a channel for the circuit.
Conditions for common soldering tin
The melting point of the solder is lower than that of the welded workpiece.
It is easy to connect with the solder and has a certain compressive capacity.
3. It should have good conductivity.
4. A faster crystallization rate is required.
The melting temperature of the solder used for fusion welding is usually not lower than the solid phase line of the base metal. Its chemical composition, mechanical and thermal properties are similar to those of the base metal, such as various electrodes and flux cored wires. The weld strength is usually not lower than the base metal itself, and the melting temperature of brazing filler metal must be lower than the solid line of the base metal. Its chemical composition is often far from the base metal. The brazing seam is fine and precise in size, but the strength of the brazing seam is mostly lower than that of the base metal itself, and the corrosion resistance is also poor. When using solder, such as arc welding, the temperature often exceeds the base metal and solder itself, and there is no difference between hard and soft; while the brazing joints of hard solder, such as copper-zinc alloy and silver-copper alloy, have higher strength and are mainly used to connect metal components with higher strength requirements, while soft solder, such as tin-lead-based alloy, has lower strength and is mainly used to connect non-brazing joints. Small joints that require too much strength, such as the joints of electronic instruments, instruments and electrical circuits of household appliances.
